comment I am eighteen years of age and have been interested
in the Loch Ness creature since the time that I was ten years of
age. I am also interested in dinosaurs or dinosaur-type creatures.
It is my belief that the creature in the loch is some type of
plesiosaur,or some type of evolutionary link. It is quite possible
that this theory is correct. Many new theories in evolution are
becoming popular,so why could a creature similar to a
plesiosaur not have evolved also? It is my firm belief that this is
the is the answer to the long mystery. Of course, in a way, it is
good that no one is able to prove the exsistence of the creature.
If it was proven, many people would want to see the creature
caught, displayed, or studied in a false environment. Something
of this proportion should be allowed to live in peace. I also believe
that more than one of these creatures exists. How else could the
sightings have lasted for so long? While, the life span of
plesiosaurs was, or is, long, one could still not live as long as
the sightings have been around. Who knows? Perhaps there
are other miracles of evolution in exsistence to the creature in
Loch Ness.

comment I'm convinced that there's something in the Loch, four
years ago I saw a large shape just under the surface, with another
similar shape alongside it similar to how a whale and its young
calf would behave, they approached the bank fairly close to the
water's edge, very swiftly and then just as quickly turned. I was
within 15 feet of the water's edge and they must have been about
20 feet away from that, a total of 35 feet in total. I cannot describe
in detail what I saw, surprise and murky waters made it difficult to
see exactly. I was only aware of a large sized object
accompanied by a smaller one. My first reaction was that they
had been large dolphins - does this ever happen?
Unfortunately, it was raining at the time and my only potential
co- witness was in my car keeping dry. It was along the road
between Drumnadrochit and Urquarhart Castle. Is this a
typical siting?

something does exist in the loch and hope and pray that it is never found

the object is. Meaning, Iseem to recall an old Sherlock Holmes movie that was
made in the 1940's. It was about Nessie and I seem to recall that they made a
"dummy" of thwe old girl. I also seem to recall that that one sank in to Loch Ness.
On this picture, my theroy is that this is not Nessie, but the copy they made in the
40's. With all the peat moss, it could have been preserved and expelled when
underwater gases let loose. That is my opinion for that picture, not for Nessie in
general.

Nessie. One day I hope to visit Nessie, but not anytime soon. But the last four

that Nessie really excits and I hope oneday we can prove it. And maybe be able

comment I do believe Nessie exists, but since there haven't been any reports of
the monster harming anyone, I think people should leave it alone. Even if it did
harm someone, people should just stay away from it. The fact that it is referred to
as a monster is misleading since monsters are thought of being evil, or bad, and
obviously Nessie is not evil or bad. These monster catchers are not right. It's
natural to be curious about her, but since there's no harm in her being there, why
not leave well enough alone? If someone did capture her, there would be no more
mystery.

comment I think that the mistery of the monster remains unsolved. In fact many
investigations have been done during many years but I think that those have not
been enough to discard the possibility hat in Loch Ness habits a real Dinosaur.
On the other hand don't forget that our planet is far to be complete discovered and
even understood, so the possibility of not only "Nessie" but other ancient criatures
coexist within us is an exciting reality.

comment Is there something living in the Loch?
I don't know, but I like to think that there is, and someday, perhaps, someone will
prove it to be true. That's the romantic side of me speaking...
The practical side, however, wonders how anything could be so elusive for so
many years. How can an animal, or group of animals feed, breathe, reproduce,
and die, and never a trace come floating to the surface?
Well, this world is full of mysteries and mankind may well never ever solve them
all.
I hope to visit the Loch someday...

to believe. I think that there is a possibility that a prehistoric creature exists; there
are also other reasonable explanations ie, the giant eel theory. Why doesnt
someone set up 24 hour cameras in the spots where it has been most frequently
seen? All those reputable people can't be wrong. Pictures can be explained
away as waves or boat wakes but an eye witness must be taken more seriously.

comment Nessie and I have not met. However, I have spent 4 absolutely
wonderful weeks traveling from touchdown in Glasgow, up to Mull, Skye, across to
the east coast, up to Invernes, straight ( thats the most rediculous thing I've said -
there is no "straight" to any where in the Highlands) to John O'Groats, Thurso and
Tongue. Unfortunately, I dilly-dallied so much that I didn't have enough time to
continue on. I had to call it a day, and I've never been the same since. I felt as
though I had come home and have spent the last 4 years trying to find the time and
money to return. I love everything about it.

comment Their have been to many sightings all over the world of creatures like
nessie to beleive that they don't exist. Most sightings are of the same general
color, length, shape, and size. Any variences are probly due to the fact of the age
of the creature. They have been sighted for hundreds of years at some point they
must have reproduced. That in mind how could people beleive the stories aren't
real?
All these people in all these years were and are lying? I find that hard to beleive.

her, though. What I am saying, is that since no one has really seen her up close
and personal, that she COULD exist. Just like God. And if she does, COOL! If she
doesn't, then she doesn't. We made her up to feel better about what we didn't know
about. The Loch.Just like God and heaven. But, I personally believe it is a very
good chance that she does exist. 900 feet deep in some spots,
24 miles long, and only one mile wide, Loch Ness would be an excellent hiding
spot.

monster herself. I just watched the X-files ( the one about "Big Blue"; another Loch
Ness Monster story ), and feel very strongly about your little pet in Scotland. The
only stories about strange happenings around here are about the "Jersey Devil".
Supposedly, an animal that was, or is, a cross between a goat, a bat and a devil
lives(ed) in the state of New Jersey. I've never seen it before, but think it would be
neat to see it.
